The living room ceiling appears to float, separated by the clerestory. Exposed concrete block fireplace and hearth features custom designed screens and andirons. Antique furniture with classic contemporary pieces such as the Platner table and Knoll couch complete the warm setting. All African pieces were acquired by the Matherons when they lived in Africa.
